V8 318. Standard 4 on the floor. !st gen Ram body style.
Love this Truck, super fun, and reliable, starts every day. I have an expanding family, so its got to go. I only drive it about 12 km a day for the last 3 years and 20 days or less a month.
Great work truck or restoration project.
Some info about the truck. It hasn't been modified , and is pretty much stock.
. The notoriously bad front end (tie rods and ball joints done approx 3 years ago.
(The Steering coupler replaced last year. However needs an alignment and tire rotation.
Tires have lots of tread .
Batteries (2 are both good) 1 is for a trailer or camper.
Wire harnesses for trailer and/or slide in campers.
Tow hitch,
Decent aftermarket stereo/ door speakers amp, and 8" subwoofer .
After market temp gauge. to replace the stock one that failed.'
Rear slider windows
Heater works great.
Mud flap fender guards on the front.
Has seat covers
The good: The truck runs strong , always starts , 4x4 has never failed. Can Carry more than most modern 1 tonnes.
Frame is solid. Bed and Front fenders and hood are all solid.
Have all receipts since the 1st owner.
The Bad:
The driver side floor is rusting, and needs to be patched, a hole is now forming. Passenger side floor has no issues.
Doors, are also showing some sign of rust now along the bottom.
Odometer stopped rolling recently
small tears in seat (seat covers included)
Typical crappy 80-'s/90's Chrysler clear coat, so there is surface rust on the hood where the paint/clear coat has failed due to normal engine heat. I have color matched paint that I will throw in. I have not had time to prep and paint the hood as I had intended. Has a Dent in one side where a startled deer ran into the side of the truck.
I also have a classic slumber queen 8 foot camper and I am willing to package it in for the right price/offer. The camper everything works. Stove/fridge/heater, electrical, and hydraulic hi-jacker camper jacks. No leaks always kept under a tarp or dry storage previously (barn or garage)
