This boat is amazing!
I'm going to be very sad to see her go.
had a great solo trip up to the north island this past summer,
extremely sea worthy vessel!
Named STEALTH
previously owned by a well known old timer in Sidney who had a reputation for his good maintenance and notable sailing skills.
I purchased stealth last year and have gotten some significant upgrades done, I will list them out down below.
I have not entered any races with stealth but she could handle them well.
although I have equipped her for long durations out at sea away from power, as she is fully self sufficient with a very large new solar system that runs everything including the refrigerator indefinitely.
I got a full marine survey done last year and have all the paperwork from that.
and I hauled it out of the water aswell to inspect for blisters
and all is nominal for a C&C 1986 fiberglass hull.
she also got a fresh bottom coast last year, and I dove down a week ago to inspect and the bottom still is clean.
The engine also got a full maintenance and inspection with a compression test last year by Garside in Sidney.
Stealth also comes with a southern pacific 2.6 metre aluminum hauled tender with a 6 month old new mercury outboard 6HP!!
with bran new stern mounted davits to haul the tender around.
on the boat I will have documents for specs of everything along with the survey papers and things.
Some new add-ons not mentioned in the specs:
-35Lb lewmar delta anchor with brand new chain and rope
-LED lighting throughout cabin and LED lighting for all NAV lights.
-sine wave shore power battery charger 50 amp
-digital sine wave power inverter
-Sprint 600 Windlass anchor winch
-BBQ
iv raced with RVYC for a few years, and have sailed for many months at a time in beautiful places in Greece and the Caribbean.
