This is a lovely little chair from the early 1900's, made of oak with a cane seat, made of oak with two panel inlays and areas of carving. It is in excellent original shape because I don't think anyone ever sat in it. It was handed down for at least three generations and I never saw anyone sit in it. The close up on the seat shows the seat is original and is still taut. The front has a wooden support underneath and the weave is a little larger. Researched for pricing.
