Old Man Opuntia plants in Sidney, British Columbia for sale

The old man Opuntia is an interesting hairy cactus that forms slender cylindrical stems covered densely with long white hairs. It periodically and randomly forms crsistate stems. Has very pretty bright red-fuchsia coloured flowers under the right conditions. Easy to care for, water infrequently.
Made and grown locally in our little hobby greenhouse here on beautiful Vancouver Island, BC, Canada. Cacti and succulent plants make wonderful indoor plants that are easy to care for. They love benign neglect! Living plants enhance your living space and improve the air you breathe... and they look beautiful in the process.
Can be grown outdoors for much of the year, or indoors year-round. Should be brought indoors for winter.
